Marian Rivera makes her stage debut this month as Kreon in the Tanghalang Ateneo production of the Greek classic Oedipus Rex.<br /><br />The GMA-7 actress will play Kreon, the female version of the character Creon who acts as second-in-command to the present-day Oedipus.<br /><br />With this new take on the character, Marian hopes to show that women are just as capable and headstrong as men. <br /><br />She tells PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and other Summit Media titles in a virtual conference on February 9, 2021: "Sa panahon ngayon, parang hindi na yata question iyan.<br /><br />"Mapababae o lalake, parang pantay-pantay na tayo ngayon.
